What is Morpheus8?
MORPHEUS8 uses microneedling in conjunction with radiofrequency energy to treat the deeper layers of the skin. Microneedling uses tiny needles to repeatedly puncture the surface of the skin, causing controlled trauma that triggers a wound healing response in the area that in turn stimulates your skin to produce collagen. Meanwhile, radiofrequency energy is delivered beneath the surface layers of the skin, and this causes coagulation in the tissues that creates collagen remodelling.
The combination of these two skin rejuvenation technologies allows this treatment to target both the upper and lower layers of the skin the epidermis and dermis. This results in deeper remodelling in the lower layers of the skin which improves the resurfacing effects of microneedling. The depth of the radiofrequency energy delivered can be customized to reach different depths of the dermal layers to address your unique skin concerns with greater precision.

This treatment is known for its anti-aging properties, from tightening and contouring sagging skin, to smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, this skin rejuvenation technology is excellent for minimizing the signs of aging.
It’s very popular to use this treatment to target the face, jowls, jawline, and neck. It is also excellent if you’re looking to improve the appearance of acne scars, micro-needling with radiofrequency energy is particularly effective. Microneedling helps resurface the top layer of the skin, so it’s excellent for creating clearer, brighter, and more evenly toned skin.
If you have active acne, however, you will not be eligible for treatment as the needles can spread bacteria from the acne and cause further breakouts. Morpheus8 is suitable for all skin tones and is the safest skin resurfacing option for people with Darker Fitzpatrick skin types. This treatment poses little to no risk of hypo or hyperpigmentation.
How many treatments are needed?
Course of 3 treatments at 4-6-week intervals is recommended to achieve best results.
What to do before your appointment
Discontinue any irritant type topical products or treatments Products such as Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C (in a low pH formula), scrubs or anything perceived as ‘active’ skincare.
Treatments such as microdermabrasion and laser.
No prolonged sun exposure, to the area being treated. A treatment will not be administered on sunburned skin
